Reenactor Fest 5 Charity Raffle

As everyone who attended RF4 can testify, the convention was a smashing success. The level of service provided by the Sheraton Chicago Northwest was something quite different. The complaints came pouring in after the convention and the call was loud and clear that we needed to change locations. We have heeded your call and are upgrading to the Westin Chicago North Shore in Wheeling, IL. This four-star hotel is only 10 minutes away from the old location, and is very easy to get to from all directions.

In order to move to the Westin for RF5 (Feb. 5-8, 2009) we had to break our contract with the Sheraton. Their prior assurances of a $500 cancellation penalty proved to be yet another lie from their sales team, the TRUE figure is $3,620!

Needless to say, that kind of money is a major hit for a small convention like ours, but in order to provide YOU with the best possible amenities and location for your RF experience, we had to take the hit.

Our friends at the Westin have generously given us two free night stays over the weekend of RF5 to raffle off, with a total value of $218.00 to one lucky winner!
